Thank you Brother Hugo...the pictures really accentuate it, and I know it takes much time and work. Bless you! Is this what the Bible calls "strange apparel"? When I've tried to point out false teachers (pastors) to people, oh, how they get angry. How dare you question our pastor! And why the whole church turned against me, for removing my membership via letter, and asking the Pastor to tell the truth about "Once saved, always saved". They make us out to the the dissemblers...the wayward one. Trying to cause division. The Pastors having them in a firm grasp. I did that once, also. Hearing rumors, I said, "No, not our pastor! No way those accusations could be true." As I look back, they probably were true. My 20 year church. Wow. Those wolves that crept in unawares. and cunningly leaven the Word. And so we must walk away, knowing that God will judge each one righteously and fairly for what they have done. It's just so sad that there are SO MANY! And SO MANY FALSE "RELIGIONS". I was flabbergasted to learn that. And so many are saying, "Nah, we are not in end times." Well...OUR GOD REIGNS!

Like the woman who poured oil on the Lords feet. NOT a wasteful act that could have been sold for money BUT an act of love to the Lord. Which is why the Lord rebuked the apostle for saying this.

As always a great video Hugo, thankyou for the time and effort you put in, to share with us all... We are blessed... (charlie boy raiding his fancy dress box πŸ˜†) Love how you communicate Hugo. Please keep up and: Love & peace all β™₯οΈπŸ™πŸΌ

Respect Hugo, but I think you are wrong on this one and the proof is the word of God: John 20: 23.

If you really study the history of the Christian church from the beginning ( it takes about 3 years), you will become a Christian Orthodox. You will hear and see about thousands of miracles which happened by the Grace of God through His Saints, priests, monks, peasants, Empress Elena, etc

Why ottoman soldiers preferred to die than to enter monasteries or churches, what did they see that made them disobeyed orders and preferred to have their heads cut off than entering Orthodox churches in Greece.

With all respect this is no argument.

Simple facts as are stated in this video

1. They believe you are saved by works (against what scripture says)

2. They believe they are above the word of God (against what scripture says)

3. The worship idols (against what scripture says)

There is no argument, these are facts, hence why you don't address them.

A church is not an organization, it is not a building, it is those that have faith and belief and become born again (baptism of the holy spirit). That is what the church is in scripture. It is a collection of people.

The Devil creates numerous counterfeit organizations to bring those who are on the path to being born again into his domain, and then the idea is to exploit them and mislead them off of that path.. Hence why these organizations beliefs are so against what scripture says.

None of the 3 so-called "facts" are true, we don't do any of that, if we will be saved it will be by the God's mercy ! We know that we don't deserve to be saved, but we are following Christ and his teachings and the Holy Ghost is guiding us,

It's a continuous fight against the flesh and governments.

Its silly to say something is not true without giving a reason for it.

You must have no reason. Anyhow these 3 big lies (facts) its not me saying these things, this is what these organized religions declare to believe out of their own mouths.

Its pretty simple.

"If the Bible and the Church disagree, it's the Church that's wrong."

You need to do some research, look into their literature, and the beliefs they state.

"If an Orthodox view of the Bible can be summed up in a single statement, it might be stated as: The Bible is a tradition of the Church. β€œOf the Church” meaning that it emerged from decisions made by those within the Church.

The Bible belongs to the Church, not the Church to the Bible. As Bishop Timothy (Kallistos) Ware states in his book The Orthodox Church."

β€œOrthodox Christians throughout their lives receive salvation and renewal through faith, works, and the sacraments of the Church.”

Wrong - The very idea of grace negates all attempts to earn salvation.

Romans 11 6 "And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work."

They believe that it is baptism that β€œintroduces the believer into the life of the Kingdom”; therefore, they baptize infants, stating that β€œholy anointing or Chrismation grants the gift of the Holy Spirit for growth in the image and likeness of God.”

However, this completely contradicts the New Testament teaching that the gift of the Holy Spirit is for those who hear and believe β€œthe message of truth, the gospel” (Ephesians 1:13)

All of this is factual, that is what they state they believe. I don't belong to any of these religious organizations. So its not my problem. That is your problem.

Hugo, it’s very obvious that you don’t even know what Catholics and Orthodox Christians believe in. Your 3 myths regarding these Rites - you insultingly call cults, and remember it’s only those in the clutches of Satan who have to resort to insults because they don’t have answers, and you didn’t answer any of my questions, yet you tell me I didn’t answer yours - your myths are so ridiculously in error as far as what we believe.

No. 1 β€œThey believe you are saved by works (against what scripture says)”

HUGO IS WRONG!!!

We believe we are born again of water and the Holy Spirit, according to the Bible, and we do not believe that we are saved at all until the day we die and meet our Maker. We will be saved by faith and works, by loving God and our neighbour, keeping the commandments, and even loving our enemy.

2. β€œThey believe that they are above the word of God”

WRONG AGAIN!

Where on earth did you find this erroneous notion? I know, from the denigrators of the Church that Jesus founded, and whose evil leader likes nothing better than to capture the souls that God has ordained for Heaven.

Our churches have NEVER believed that we are above the word of God.

How on earth could we be above our creator, or believe such rot!

Plus, the RC church has NEVER identified itself as being infallible. Another GROSS ERROR! The only time an infallible statement is made by the RC church is when the Pope is inspired to make such a statement from the Seat of Peter.

Can you tell me how many times has a Pope made an infallible statement in the whole existence of Christendom? Go on, I bet you don’t have the answer! Three times! Did you see that? I’ll say it again - THREE TIMES in over 2,000 years!!! That’s how β€œinfallible” our church considers itself to be!

3. The worship idols (against what scripture says)

MORE HUGO ERROR - Here we go again!

The Church doesn’t have idols.

We have statues and pictures of the Holy Family which we place in auspicious areas, in church and home. They help to remind us of our Blessed Mother, Our Lord, and our Almighty Father. The ONLY ones we adore are the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Nobody else is DIVINE. Got that? We don’t and can’t worship idols - we don’t have any, we have pictures of saints, great people who have lived holy lives as I explained to you but you’re too blinded by the evil genius who rules your mind and your top heavy ego to have a little humility and read what the saints have written - not β€œsome bloke”! If you refuse to widen your limited knowledge and explore REAL CHRISTIANITY, it’s too bad. I hope Our Lord and his Blessed Mother will inspire you.

And here’s an interesting question for you, Hugo! Do you ever carry photos of your loved ones around with you, and enjoy taking them out and looking affectionately at them? Do you have photos on your walls! Are these idols? No, of course not, but you hold them in high esteem. That’s what we do with Mary and the Saints. Get yourself a Catholic Catechism and actually learn about the subject you are trying to denigrate.

I am reminded of the verse about spreading pearls before swine - Can’t waste time, my friend. But I will pray for you.

Viva Cristo Rey!

So much effort to say so little. You are wrapping yourself up in knots trying to refute what is obvious. Anyone who can read can see this. I don't need to point out much but one example... how you say I am wrong about orthodox believing they are saved by works, and then you go on and state "we believe that we are saved by faith AND WORKS"

come on...

This is your argument. Must do better next time.

I used to like you, Hugo, when you were a red-pilled secular and globalist critic.

You should stick to the secular stuff, my friend.

You don’t know enough about history or religion to be able to critique the topic.

And you are so wrong about so many aspects of our faith - and the church that Jesus founded on the Rock of Peter.

One thing you are correct about - orthodoxy and Catholicism are sister religions, the division caused by an unfortunate schism. But we respect and recognize each other as our beliefs are almost identical.

For 1500 years our faith was embraced by the whole Christian known world - it was christendom. The church was growing from gatherings in homes to fully fledged liturgies being said in larger buildings to cater to the increasing numbers of converts.

Then the β€œreformation” arrived, under Martin Luther and his cohorts. Please don’t tell us that after Jesus died on the cross and resurrected saying he was sending the Holy Spirit to guide the church and the clergy, that you expect us to believe that the whole of Christendom was wrong - according to Hugo - and that Jesus left us for 1500 years floundering around in ignorance until Martin Luther arrive to give us the β€œtruth”!

My suggestions to you, Hugo, get yourself copies of the numerous books entitled LIVES OF THE SAINTS and see how they lived, and how they died and how most were horribly martyred, and then have the audacity to tell us in our high level of comfort that we are as good as they are! Before you try to lecture us on a topic you only know half of, please study the half you don’t know and stop aping the garbage emanating from denigrators of our faith, which is so offensive to Our Lord who founded that faith! I believe you are a good, sincere man, just lacking in knowledge and insight. Don’t give in to Satan’s clutches.

Another long winded comment that says very little. And does not talk about what the video is about.

Simple facts as are stated in this video

1. They believe you are saved by works (against what scripture says)

2. They believe they are above the word of God (against what scripture says)

3. They worship idols, saints, praying to saints etc (against what scripture says)

There is no argument, these are facts, hence why you don't address them in your comment.

And they are anti-scripture, they go against the word of God, and this is by no accident, this is done deliberately. What other reason would there be to do things so clearly the opposite of what God says. These 3 BIG LIES are just the main ones, there are plenty more.

A church is not an organization, it is not a building, it is those that have faith and belief and become born again (baptism of the holy spirit). That is what the church is in scripture. It is a collection of people. The collective body of Christians, The 'Church' is those who profess to believe in Christ, and acknowledge him to be the Savior of mankind.

The Devil creates numerous counterfeit organizations who all individually claim to be the one true church, to cause division among the "real church", that being the real collective body of christian's, and this is done in order to bring those who are on the path to being born again into his domain, and then to exploit them and mislead them off of that path.. Hence why these organizations beliefs are so against what scripture says.

It is obvious to the layman.

It is the professionals and historians who spin you complex yarns to keep you confused so that you remain uninformed and confused. And they are usually working for the state and the establishment.

This is highlighted in your long winding comment, its not a rebuke, its just an attempt at muddying the waters in an argument you clearly can't oppose, because if you could you would address the 3 BIG LIES, that the video is all about.

And to top it all off you recommend/plug some book written by some bloke, so you direct people to a book, while I direct people to the word of God.

See the difference.
