Much like identifying with a political party, investing in a person is a losing situation. It makes you go into denial when the mistakes or sins of that party or person are exposed. Well said, Hugo. I try to tell people this and nothing makes them more pissed off at me.

Through transcendental meditation I experienced a deep connection with the source of all things more than I ever did praying or reading. It was effortless and instant.

I don't know why Christians have to be so dogmatic about what people do to get closer to God. So if it's not specifically in the bible it can't possibly be a good thing right?

There are a lot of wonderful things about the human experience that are not described in the bible. That doesn't mean that you should ignore them or shun them. Those are the actions of a closed mind and a closed mind will never experience the fullness of nature's intelligence.

Are you sure Jesus wasn't transcending when he sat under a tree while his disciples waited patiently?

Are you positive you weren't deceived? Until the final reckoning, many people are pulled in by "feel good" methods which take less work and dedication. There are many things I felt made me "closer to God" but they were fleeting and they did not permanently change me. Christianity did, but it was a long process and journey which took a lot of work and listening to God.

Dear Tsubion, I used to think Christians were dogmatic and closed minded too. Then I found out why.

After Evil's revealing of itself with its open declaration of war on humanity in the year of 'Corona', I finally got round to reading The Book. Where I saw that Jesus makes it clear there is only one path to God, and it's a narrow one. Anything even slightly to the right or the left of The Narrow Path is likely to lead you off it, and possibly leave you lost forever.

And yes, there are loads of interesting little shiny things glittering in the rocks to either side of The Narrow Path. But you might do well to consider that if it wasn't God leading you astray, it must have been The Enemy Of Mankind. Possibly trying to slip shiny hooks into you, deep enough that when he's sent down, he can have the spiteful glee of towing you down there with him!

That's all he has to look forward to after his massive betrayal of God, and his determination to not ever apologise for it. Because- Pride in Self! Especially when you think you're the shiniest thing!

"Good, or evil?" is in essence "God, or Self?". All must answer. And live by it forever. Or die by it forever. How else does Heaven stay Heaven?!

And if it's not a strong clear choice of something really good or something really bad, why bother answering at all really? Why have choices? Why have anything?

Doesn't everyone's soul have a sudden fatal screaming fit, if instead they realise they're trapped forever in an infinity made up merely of infinite intergalactic holiday resorts with varying degrees of dress and moral codes?!! So what?! Yes, most souls could enjoy that for quite some time- but literally FOREVER?! After the 1st millennium of holidaying, don't most souls want to curl up and die for lack of higher purpose? They'd get so desperate they would have invent an imaginary 'God'. But knowing they'd invented him would only make the hunger pangs sharper. Like gnawing each other's leg bones in a lifeboat. You might as well all slip over the side! If there's no more to Existence than holidaying, if there's no actual Holy One, why continue? If there's not a point, what's the point?!!!

I'm glad you seem to agree with that bottom line at least. I wish you all the best with the rest of your journey, dear brother. God bless you, now and forever :]

I'm more horrified at people worshipping Elon Musk. But this is a GREAT example. Most people who are worshipped by a good section of the public are monsters or simply evil people. Mostly of the carnival barker type, but sometimes with absolutely nefarious designs (like Musk (see: neurolink)).

Brilliant as usual, many thanks . Read recently that a top US scientist believes that we are living in a virtual simulation as in The Matrix and that this was even written in the Bible. Look it up in the DailyFail…

Sounds like what all the CO network shills like to spin. If its getting promoted by the daily mail, you know its part of the agenda.

Saying that the word of god, is also computer code, is just Satan through the false prophet media trying to convince people that AI should be able to rewrite the Bible.

David Icke promotes simulation theory a lot.

A lot of younger people I know are aware of simulation theory and open to it being the truth.

Sounds like a nihilistic con to me that distracts people from purpose and optimism.
